New-ish cat HATES my other cats
Help, I really need some advice. A few weeks ago, I adopted a sweet three-year-old cat named Luna, hoping sheād fit right in with my other two cats, Whiskers and Bella, who have been buddies for years. I know introducing a new cat can be tricky, so I followed all the recommendationsāseparate spaces, slow introductions, scent swapping, the works. However, itās been a month now, and Luna still hisses and swats at Whiskers and Bella whenever they come near her. She seems constantly on edge and hides most of the day. Whiskers and Bella are social and calm, but even they've started acting differently, with poor Whiskers avoiding certain rooms altogether. Iām worried sick that Luna will never adjust, and I donāt want the stress to affect my OG duo. Am I missing something here, or is it just a lost cause? Any tips or similar experiences would be so appreciated. Iām desperate to make this work!
