Are cashews safe for dogs to eat in small amounts?

In small amounts, cooked unseasoned cashews are safe for dogs. Dogs shouldn’t be given raw cashews in their shells, as, in this form, cashews contain a toxin known as urushiol. Likewise, seasoned cashews should be avoided, as the seasonings may not be safe for dogs or may lead to digestive distress.
