I'm really worried and could use some advice. My cat, Whiskers, was recently diagnosed with an ear infection, and the vet gave him an OTI E Pack for treatment. Ever since the visit, a couple of days ago, Whiskers seems to have gone practically deaf, and he's barely touched his food. It's so unlike him because he's usually such a good eater. He's also become pretty lethargic, and I'm not sure if it's from the meds or if something else is going on. I’ve tried different foods and even his favorite treats, but he just sniffs and turns away. Has anyone else experienced this kind of reaction with their pet? Is this normal, or should I be taking him back to the vet? Any insights would really help because I'm starting to freak out a bit.
