I'm reaching out because I'm pretty worried about my dog, Max. He's a six-year-old Labrador who’s usually super energetic and happy, but over the past week, he's been having these intense coughing fits that come out of nowhere. It’s almost like a gagging cough, and sometimes he seems to have trouble catching his breath. I’ve tried to think of anything that might have changed, like his food or environment, but I'm drawing a blank. We're planning a vet visit soon, but I can't stop stressing, and the wait is driving me crazy. Has anyone experienced something similar with their pets? I’d really appreciate any advice or insights.
