Thanks for reaching out with your question! Proviable Forte paste is generally off-white or tan in color. It’s a probiotic and prebiotic supplement often used to support digestive health in pets by promoting beneficial gut bacteria.
It’s understandable to be concerned if you notice a different color. Generally, a slight variation, particularly toward a light tan, is normal. However, a significant change in color could indicate that the product is expired, stored improperly, or contaminated.
If you’re seeing anything concerning such as a drastic color change, a foul odor, or if the paste seems unusually watery or has chunks, you might want to reach out to the place of purchase or the manufacturer for further guidance. It's not advisable to use the product until you're sure it's safe.
In the meantime, watch for signs of digestive discomfort in your pet, like diarrhea, vomiting, or a lack of appetite, as these could signify an issue. If these symptoms occur, it could be linked to the supplement's quality or an unrelated health issue.

What color should Proviable forte paste be?
Help! I'm really worried and could use some advice. I just started giving my cat, Whiskers, Proviable Forte paste on my vet's recommendation to help with her digestive issues. I've never used it before and noticed that the paste is kind of a weird beige color, almost like light tan. I’m concerned because I thought it might be white or clear, and now I’m paranoid there might be something wrong with it. Has anyone else used this and can tell me if this is normal? She seems to be acting normal otherwise, but I want to make sure I’m not giving her something that's gone bad or isn’t working as it should. Thanks in advance for any help or reassurance!
