Thanks for reaching out! This is a common question for puppy owners, and it's great that you're thinking proactively about your pup's nutrition. Puppies are like little growing machines, and their nutritional needs change as they gain weight and grow.
As your puppy grows, it’s important to adjust her food intake to meet her current needs. Generally, you should increase the amount of food as she gains weight rather than waiting for milestone ages. Puppies have different growth spurts and nutritional requirements that evolve over time, depending on their breed, size, and activity level. A good rule of thumb is to follow the feeding guidelines provided on the puppy food package, using her current weight to determine the right portion size.
Remember to observe her body condition: puppies should have a discernible waist, and you should be able to feel (but not see) their ribs when you touch the sides.
Signs that your puppy might not be getting the right amount of food include overly fast weight gain, which can lead to growth disorders, or being too thin, which means she needs a bit more food. If you notice any drastic changes or are unsure about her weight, it might be a good idea to talk to a vet.

Should I keep upping puppy's food in increments as she gains weight, or keep her at a stable amount until she hits the next milestone?
I don't know what’s going on with my puppy's eating habits, and I'm kind of freaking out a bit. She's been putting on weight pretty quickly, and every week it seems like she's hungrier earlier and earlier. We’re talking about a little ball of energy that just turned four months. I’ve been gradually increasing her portions to keep up, but I'm worried I might be over-feeding her or getting this all wrong. Are puppies supposed to eat more as they grow, or should I just keep her on a steady diet until she gets a bit older? It’s like she’s always giving me those "feed me more" eyes and I don’t want to make a mistake here. Any advice or personal experience would seriously help because I’m starting to doubt myself on what’s best for my little fluff ball.
