A dull appearance of the skin and a lack of appetite are classic signs that your snake is preparing to shed its skin (ecdysis). During this time, a snake's eyes may also appear cloudy or bluish, and they typically become reclusive and may not eat. Ensure your snake's enclosure has appropriate humidity levels and plenty of rough surfaces, like rocks or branches, to help them shed cleanly. Continue to offer water.
