Orange or reddish urine in rabbits can sometimes be normal, often due to pigments from certain foods like carrots or leafy greens, or external factors like temperature. However, it can also indicate a more serious issue such as blood in the urine (hematuria) from a urinary tract infection, bladder stones, or kidney disease. Observe your rabbit for any other symptoms like straining to urinate, lethargy, loss of appetite, or pain. If your rabbit is otherwise acting normal, you can monitor for a day, but if it persists, or if any other symptoms appear, veterinary attention is warranted.
