However, it's also possible your hamster is severely ill or has passed away. If there's any chance it's torpor, try to gently and gradually warm them up by placing them in a warm (but not hot) room or holding them close to your body for a short period. Do NOT use direct heat sources like heating pads on high or hot water. If they don't respond to warming or show any signs of breathing within a short time, or if you suspect illness, veterinary attention is necessary.
