Improper shedding (dysecdysis) in geckos is often a sign that their environment isn't ideal, particularly regarding humidity or nutrition. Ensure your gecko has a proper 'moist hide' with sphagnum moss or another humidity-retaining substrate. Also, check your tank's overall humidity levels with a hygrometer. Nutritional deficiencies, especially of Vitamin A, can also affect skin health. A warm, shallow bath can sometimes help loosen stuck skin, but avoid pulling it off.
