Improper shedding, or dysecdysis, in geckos can be a sign of issues like inadequate humidity, lack of proper shedding décor, nutritional deficiencies, or underlying health problems. Ensure his enclosure has appropriate humidity levels for his species and plenty of rough surfaces, like rocks or branches, to help him rub off old skin. A warm, humid hide box can also be very beneficial. Check his diet to ensure he's receiving all necessary vitamins and minerals, especially Vitamin A.
