Hi there! I'm sorry to hear that your dog isn’t feeling well. A decrease in energy and appetite in dogs could be caused by several things. Common causes include gastrointestinal issues like an upset stomach or something they may have eaten that doesn't agree with them. Stress or changes in their environment could also lead to these symptoms. Other possibilities include infections, dental problems, or chronic conditions such as kidney or liver issues.
At home, make sure your dog has access to fresh water and a comfortable, quiet place to rest. Sometimes offering bland, easy-to-digest food like boiled chicken and rice can entice them to eat and ease tummy troubles. However, if your dog refuses food altogether or if they’re showing other symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, or any signs of pain, it’s a good idea to seek further help.
Keep a close watch for signs that might indicate a more serious issue, such as persistent vomiting, diarrhea, severe lethargy, difficulty breathing, or pale gums. Any of these symptoms along with a lack of appetite and tiredness would warrant a professional assessment.

My dog is lethargic and not eating, looking for possible explanations
I’m really worried about my fur baby, Max. He’s usually so full of energy, bouncing around the house like he’s got springs in his paws, but for the past couple of days, he’s been really lethargic. It’s like he’s not himself at all. He’s been refusing his favorite treats and hasn’t touched his food since yesterday morning. It’s breaking my heart to see him like this because he’s usually such a foodie. I've tried coaxing him with boiled chicken and even some of his favorite wet food, but nothing seems to spark his interest. He just lays around, looking sad and tired. I’m starting to really panic here. Has anyone else experienced something similar with their dogs? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated — I just want to help my little guy feel better again.
