Loose stools, especially after outdoor activity, could be due to dietary indiscretion (eating something they shouldn't), stress, or a mild gut upset. If it's a one-off and your dog is otherwise bright, energetic, and eating normally, you can try feeding a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice for a day or two. Ensure they have access to plenty of fresh water to prevent dehydration.
