My dog died because of medication error.

I'm feeling absolutely devastated and overwhelmed with guilt right now, and I don’t know who else to turn to. A week ago, I noticed my sweet, gentle lab, Cooper, wasn't acting like his usual self—he was lethargic and not eating much. I took him to the vet, and they prescribed some medication. I trusted them completely and followed the instructions exactly as given. But yesterday, Cooper seemed to be getting worse. When I called the vet, they told me there'd been a mistake in the dosage they provided and by then it was too late. I rushed him back, but we lost him last night. I can't stop replaying everything and wondering if I should have noticed something sooner. How do I even begin to process this loss? Has anyone been through something similar? How can I ensure this doesn’t happen to other pets or their owners?

What an amazing service, at my wits end as I knew my beautiful dog had an ear infection, could not get into the vet for 4 days. Never knew there was vets online until I googled.
