I really need some advice and maybe a little reassurance here. I've been feeling so guilty lately because I just stumbled upon this concept called "single kitten syndrome." My cat, Tigger, who's now about a year old, was adopted when he was just a few weeks old. He’s always been the only cat, and I've started noticing he's become really aggressive with biting and scratching during playtime. I thought it was just playful behavior, but now I’m worried it might be because he didn’t have siblings to learn boundaries from. I do my best to keep him entertained and try to redirect his energy, but I'm starting to worry that I’ve missed some crucial steps in his early socialization. Is there anything I can do now to help him, or is it too late? Would bringing another cat into the mix help or make things worse? I’d really appreciate any tips or advice from those who’ve been here before.
