Is my dogs foot infected
I don't know what is happening, but I’m really worried about my dog’s paw. A few days ago, I noticed she was limping slightly, but she’s always been an active pup, so I didn't think too much of it. Today, though, I checked her foot and saw a small cut or scratch between her toes. It looks red and a bit swollen, and she winces when I touch it. She’s been licking it constantly, and I’m starting to think it might be infected. I usually try to care for these things at home, but I’m not sure if this needs a vet’s attention or if I can just clean it with some antiseptic. I’ve tried to keep it covered, but she’s not making that easy! Has anyone else dealt with something like this? What should I do next?
