I’m really freaking out right now and need some advice. I was snuggling with my cat, Muffin, this morning when I noticed a weird lump on her neck. At first, I thought it was just a knot in her fur, but then I realized it was a small, round bump—like a tick maybe? I live in an area where paralysis ticks can be a problem, and I’m terrified that’s what it might be. Muffin seems a bit lethargic today and not her usual playful self, which is adding to my worry. I’m planning to call the vet, but their earliest appointment is in three days—just my luck. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? How urgent is it to see a vet?
