My 8-month-old Labrador, Max, is my absolute world, and I've been considering getting him professionally trained because he's got so much energy – too much for my little apartment and my patience some days! The trainer I'm looking at has rave reviews and promises great results, but they use a remote collar as part of their process. I know this might be controversial, and I'm really conflicted about whether the potential obedience benefits outweigh the possible downsides. Has anyone else been in this position? How did it work out for you? I just want to ensure I’m making the best decision for Max, ensuring his happiness and well-being above all else.
