Thanks for reaching out. I completely understand why you're worried, and it's good that you're seeking help right away. Cocaine exposure in cats is a serious concern, as it can have harmful effects on their health.
Cats are highly sensitive to drugs and toxins, and cocaine can cause a range of dangerous symptoms. You might notice hyperactivity, agitation, or restlessness. Other signs include tremors or muscle twitching, high heart rate, or even seizures. If your cat is having difficulty breathing, vomiting, experiencing diarrhea, or showing signs of weakness or collapse, these are all serious symptoms that require immediate veterinary care.
At home, try to keep your cat in a calm, dark environment to reduce stimuli, and make sure they have access to fresh water. Avoid any further exposure to the drug and ensure all substances are securely stored out of reach.
If your cat exhibits any of the serious symptoms mentioned, it's vital to seek emergency veterinary assistance immediately. Time is of the essence in these situations, and professional help is paramount.

Accidentally got my cat high on coke
I don’t know what’s going on… I’m freaking out a little bit. This afternoon, I came home to find my office a total mess, and my cat, Whiskers, was acting super strange—darting around more than usual and kind of jittery. I’ve been scratching my head trying to figure out what could have happened when it hit me: I left my can of soda on the desk, and she must have knocked it over while I was at work. I’ve heard that caffeine isn’t good for cats, but I have no idea what happens if they accidentally get into it like this. She’s usually super chill and napping at this time, so this really has me worried. Should I be taking her to the vet or just let her ride it out? We’ve just hit the three-hour mark of this, and I’m feeling pretty guilty and anxious here. Any advice or similar experiences??
